Vinification and Maturation<\/h5>\n\n

The fermentation undergoes at a controlled temperature, preceded by prefermentative cryomaceration. After racking, the wine is left to decant in steel vats, where the malolactic fermentation takes place before facing the aging in wood for 12 months, followed by a long refinement in bottle. <\/p>\n\n

Tasting notes<\/h5>\n\n

The color is deep ruby red. The nose is evolved: blackberry jam and wild berries, cherries, sour cherries in alcohol and dried sour cherries. The spiciness is complex, given both by the Sagrantino and by the passage in large wood. There is a strong roasting, a hint of tobacco and vanilla. The acidity is brilliant, the tannin well integrated and smooth, softness and pseudo-caloric sensation give the wine great balance and a pleasant harmony. <\/p>\n\n
