“A wine for being together, representing love for our land. Perfect companion for aperitifs and moments of conviviality among friends”
Vine variety
Sangiovese, merlot, Cabernet, withered native grape of Montefalco
Vinification and Maturation
the grapes arrive in the cellar after a careful manual selection and undergo a cryo-maceration process to naturally extract aromas and perfumes from the skins. After racking, the must undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel before facing the refinement.
Tasting notes
Intense colour, ruby gem with consistency perceptible on the wrist. The bouquet is full of structure, character, courage: ripe red fruit, black pepper and blackberry pursue deep nuances, brought about by the dried native grapes. Sweet tobacco, vanilla pastry and candied orange peel arouse curiosity, ennobled by a delicate perception of wood, constant and elegant. The softness is formidable, the tannin is delicate and commensurate, the mineral nuance subtle and persistent. The flavor of blood orange, sweet and juicy, accompanies the whole sip and gives the oral cavity a pleasant and satisfying memory.
Suggested pairing
Porcini mushrooms bruschetta
